REACT Volunteers are needed for Kissimmee Valley REACT (Radio Emergency Associated Communications Teams). Members monitor CB 9 for emergencies on the roads and provide emergency communications and assistance to disaster services, such as the Red Cross, Salvation Army and police via UHF Radio and Citizens Band. Sunrise Dropin Center The Sunrise Dropin Center, 512 N. Clyde Ave., is a social club for mental health consumers. Volunteers are needed in the areas of fund-raising, office work, bookkeeping, transportation to special events and a bilingual tutor. Call 407-846-1800.
Florida Hospital Kissimmee Volunteers 18 and older are needed to work as front desk assistants and patient ambassadors as well as in patient care positions. Call 933-6659.

Home help needed The Osceola ChildrenÌs Home needs volunteers to work with youth victims of abuse and neglect in the foster care system. The home is in need of volunteers 16 and older to help with schoolwork, provide emotional support and participate in fund-raising events.Anyone who can volunteer three or more hours per week is asked to call Paula at 847-7368 or 847-6048.
